EU-Week at TUM School of Management
The European Union Week will take place from May 6th until May 10th 2019 at the Technical University of Munich. The event is held for the third time and it is organized jointly by TUM School of Management and HEC Paris, as a sign of our commitment to and belief in Europe.
The aim of the European Union Week is both to inform participants about the European Union and to get them excited about the European idea, especially against the background that the United Kingdom is exiting the European Union this year.
The opening event will take place on May 6th at 6 pm in the Audimax. We are excited to welcome a key player on the European stage: Michel Barnier, European Chief Negotiator for the United Kingdom exiting the European Union.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Alexander Clarkson, lecturer in German and European & International Studies, as a speaker next to Michel Barnier, European Chief Negotiator for the United Kingdom exiting the European Union.
Dr. Clarkson who is teaching at King’s College London will give us insights into Europe’s position in the world. As in his lectures, he helps students to examine the increasing involvement of the European Union in issues involving citizenship, immigration and home affairs.
The lecture will take place on May 7th at 6 pm in building 0505, lecture hall 534, ground floor and is open for everyone interested.
