It was the crowning achievement for over 800 Bachelor's and Master's graduates, as well as 30 doctoral students from the 2024 graduating class of the TUM School of Management - the Graduation Ceremony 2024! The graduates were duly honored for their achievements and were able to celebrate together with their families at this unforgettable event. A sea of gowns and graduation hats flooded into the Philharmonie in the Fat Cat.

In its 40th anniversary year, TUM Management Alumni eV was also there as co-host and sponsor and presented a cinematic red carpet in the entrance area. The graduates were able to show off their best side in their robes and in the colors of our university and have beautiful souvenir photos taken by a professional photographer. We could never have imagined the enthusiasm of the guests - the red carpet was an immense success!

The ceremony opened with an inspiring speech by Oliver Zipse, CEO of BMW AG. Prof. Gunther Friedl was honored for his formative time as Dean of the School of Management. Zarah Bruns, CEO of Socialbee and alumna of the faculty, encouraged the graduates in her speech to change our world for the better. Accompanied by a melodic string quartet and the applause of their families, the graduates received their diplomas from Dr. Prof. Friedl.

The TUM Management Alumni eV awards the Dissertation Award worth €1,000 every year as part of the Graduation Ceremony. A jury of professors from the TUM School of Management selects the winner from among all applicants. We congratulate this year's winner, Dr. Eunji Lee, for her outstanding performance with her doctoral thesis on the topic of "Information Sharing and Coordination in Supply Chains".

Even though the academic chapter of many students is now coming to an end, we at the Alumni Association would like to continue to accompany you on your journey! As alumni, there are always new offers true to our motto "Stay connected": Alumni Reunion, exciting keynote speeches or our New Year's reception - we look forward to seeing you again!
