The meet@TUM School of Management career fair took place for the first time as a two-day event in the winter semester and was a great success. On November 6th and 7th, over 1,500 students and graduates took the opportunity to meet leading companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, Infineon and many others on the TUM campus in Munich to learn more about career opportunities and entry-level programs.
As part of the fair, various career workshops were offered that gave students valuable information and practical tips on topics such as applications and negotiation. These workshops were conducted by our corporate partners Philip Morris International and MLP Finanzberatung SE.
Another important part of the event was the cooperation with the Goethe-Institut eV and the Family Business Club at TUM. The Goethe-Institut informed the students about international language courses and cultural exchange programs and also raffled off a voucher for a German course. The Family Business Club at TUM gave the participants valuable insights into the working methods and career opportunities in family businesses.
Another highlight of the career fair was the offer of a professional applicant photo shoot by the alumni association, where students could receive high-quality photos for their CV free of charge.
The meet@TUM career fair not only offered students numerous resources for professional development, but also valuable networking opportunities. We thank all participating companies and look forward to the next event.
