The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has renewed their accreditation of the TUM School of Management. This re-accreditation guarantees that the School of Management (SOM) will remain one of less than 100 business schools worldwide with Triple Crown accreditation status. The re-accreditation is valid for five years, the longest possible term of accreditation.

In addition to commending the facilities during their visit, the assessors singled out a few attributes of the SOM in particular for praise:

“[A] committed and collegiate team of academic and professional leaders who are all dedicated to the academic and pastoral well-being of participants.

The University’s domestic and international reputations for excellence is an enviable platform upon which to build researchers and MBA students.

The quality of the Advisory Board membership is a significant asset to the future development of the School and its programs.

[Dedication] to internationally-relevant teaching and research.”

AMBA accreditation focuses on the MBA programs of a business school to maintain high standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction and reflect innovation and changing trends in postgraduate education.

Along with the TUM SOM, AMBA has awarded accreditation to five other business schools in Germany: The School of Economics & Law of the Berlin Professional School, the European School of Management & Technology, the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, the GISMA Business School, and the Mannheim Business School.
