Starting university marks the beginning of an exciting phase of life full of opportunities, fresh inspiration, and formative encounters. At the TUM School of Management's Welcome Day on October 9, 2026, first-year students got to know their faculty, gained initial insights into university life, and made direct contacts with companies and TUM's student associations. 

We at TUM Management Alumni eV and our corporate partner Deloitte Each of us had our own stand at the event. We used this opportunity to talk to the students, introduce our network, and demonstrate the bridges that exchange between university, alumni, and the business world can build. A special highlight of the day: Deloitte provided the students with free popcorn, which created a relaxed atmosphere and visibly facilitated the exchange. 

Networking from the very beginning 

University studies involve much more than just lectures and exams. Those who start looking into this early on... The TUM School of Management created this format precisely for this purpose: new students could ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere, get their bearings on campus, and make valuable initial contacts for the future. 

As TUM Management Alumni e.V., our goal is to connect students with the professional world early on. Whether through career events or targeted networking, we want to open doors to internships, working student positions, and later, permanent employment. Together with our corporate partners, we offer the opportunity to explore career paths during your studies and to gradually expand your professional network.
